Moynalty v Na Fianna Moynalty played Na Fianna in the fourth round of the U15 championship. Eoin Gilsenan got Moynalty off to a strong start with two points. However, Na Fianna responded with a goal and a point, briefly taking the lead. Moynalty quickly regained control with two quickfire goals, one from Bobby Jackson and the other from Aaron Lynch. It was a match where there would be plenty of mistakes made by the wet weather conditions with slipping and sloppy passing from both sides. Despite this, Aaron Lynch managed to score a great point for Moynalty. Na Fianna continued to put up a fight, scoring three points to Moynalty's two, making it a competitive first half with a score of Moynalty 2:05, Na Fianna 1:04. In the second half, there was a great run from the half-back line by Oran Mc Kenna, who was unlucky to see his shot hit the goalpost, but saw Bobby Jackson there to convert the opportunity into a point. Moynalty continued to build their lead, scoring 1:02 while Na Fianna managed three points. However, a mistake in Moynalty's defence resulted in Na Fianna being awarded a penalty, which they missed initially but converted on the second attempt, narrowing the gap to four points. Aaron Lynch and Bobby Jackson added two more points for Moynalty, but Na Fianna managed to score another goal. Fortunately for Moynalty, time ran out, and they secured a hard-fought victory by three points, with the final score being Moynalty 3:10, Na Fianna 3:07. There was great performances from Andrew Carolan, Oran Mc Kenna, Oisin Gilsenan, Danny Gorman and Bobby Jackson.
