On Easter Monday, Moynalty made the trip to Moylagh to play round 4 of the Meath A League.

Moynalty played against a strong wind in the first half and it was Niall O' Connor that got the first point of the game with Moylagh quickly equalizing.

The home side then went on to score 2:04 without reply and our lads were really struggling to get into the game. Just before half time Cathal Reilly scored Moynalty's second point to leave the half time score.

The second half Moylagh added two more points to their tally to dampen hopes of a revival. The reds then went on to score 4 points of their own with 3 excellently taken scores from Ollie Sheridan.

The elusive goals we needed just didn’t look like coming our way as Moylagh played really well against the elements.

Both sides traded two points a piece towards the end of the game.
