Moynalty played Simonstwon on Tuesdaay 29th in Simonstown in B league. Moynalty had only the bare 13 players where as Simonstown had plenty. Paddy Farrelly got Moynalty on the scoreboard first but then Simonstown hit two goals and a point. Moynalty got two points back from Christy Cahill. Simonstown got a further 1-02 to bring the half time score Moynalty 0-03, Simonstown 3-03.
The second half Moynalty hit 3 unanswered points two from Adrian Lynch and one from Christy Cahill. Moynatly played better in this second half but just couldn't keep up the energy that was needed with only having 13 players and no subs. Simonstown were able to bring on fresh legs and thats what made the difference. Moynalty scored 2-04 in this half to Simonstown 1-08.
