Moynalty played Kilbride in A League Division 4 in Moynalty on Saturday evening. This was a Round 1 game that should have been played, but with the bad weather at the begining of this campaign it is only been played now.

Kilbride were first on the scorebaord and went two points ahead, Paul Lynch got one back for Moynalty before Carl Lynch got a goal to put Moynalty ahead by two. The first half was nip & tuc with point for point from both sides. Moynalty suffered a huge blow due to our fullback Ronan Mc Mahon getting a nasty injury, Ronan will be a huge loss and we wish him well and a speedy recovery. When play continued Moynalty got two goals one each from Ollie Sheridan and Paul Lynch. Kilbride replied with three points. Just before half time Michael Cahill got a great point for Moynalty, again Kilbride replied with two. Leaving half time score Moynalty 3-02, Kilbride 0-07.

The second half Moynalty went on a scoring spree with some great passes and movement of the ball at a quick pace that Kilbride could not deal with. Moynalty scored 2-10 to Kilbrides 5 points, goals from James Cassidy & Ollie Sheridan, points from Pauric O' Connor (1), Paul Lynch (5), James Cassidy (1), Carl Lynch (1), Christy Cahill (1) & Ollie Sheridan (1). This was a geat team performance with hard hitting and Moynalty continue their good run in this A League Campaign.
